Rob Fenton | Director

B.E.(Honours) Civil; MBA, FIEAust, MACSEV

Rob has over 35 years’ experience in structural engineering design and documentation, project management and contract administration.

Rob is a Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust), and a Past President of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers Victoria (ACSEV)

Rob has an intimate knowledge of current structural and civil engineering codes and standards, and of the other structural and civil provisions of the National Construction Code. Rob also has extensive experience in the investigation and rectification of building damage.  

Prior to forming Fenton Partners, Rob gained extensive experience at a major consulting firm and at the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria.

Joseph Lin | Senior Engineer

B.E. (Honours) Civil

Joseph has over 40 years’ experience in design and management of structural engineering projects.  

Joseph’s experience includes major infrastructure works, industrial structures, multi-storey office buildings and apartments, shopping centres, sports stadiums and hospital and medical research facilities.

Prior to joining Fenton Partners, Joseph worked for large consulting engineering firms both in Australia and overseas. He is an integral part of our high-performing team, with his extensive experience and expertise enabling him to provide insightful structural input to technically complex and challenging projects and investigations of building distress.

Alan Chin | Senior Engineer

B.E. (Civil & Management)

Alan is a highly experienced senior engineer, specialising in investigations of building distress, as well as project management and contract administration of remedial works.

Alan’s experience includes contract administration of remedial works for State Government-owned social housing properties, as well as in-depth investigations of building movement damage.

Prior to joining Fenton Partners, Alan worked for a Melbourne-based consulting firm, and for the Malaysian Public Works Department, and is a key member of our project management team.

Heng King Ngu | Design Engineer

B.E. (Civil); MACSEV 

Heng is a highly experienced design engineer, with over 15 years’ specialising in structural and civil engineering design and documentation across a wide variety of projects and sectors.

Heng’s experience includes new buildings and complex alterations to existing buildings for Government, Health, Education and Residential projects.

Heng has prepared specifications and documentation for many remedial works projects, including for State Government-owned social housing buildings and for major demolition projects.

Joining Fenton Partners as a graduate engineer in 2005, Heng has become an integral part of our high-performing design team.

Bryan Choi | Design Engineer

B.E. (Honours) Civil; MACSEV

Bryan is a very effective project manager, communicator and design engineer.

Bryan’s experience includes contract administration of major demolition projects as part of the State Government Public Housing Renewal Program and Big Build Program, in addition to remedial works for State Government-owned social housing properties.

Bryan has also project-managed significant remedial and upgrade projects for our Owners Corporation Management clients.

Prior to joining Fenton Partners, Bryan has worked as an estimator in the construction industry, and is an integral part of our high-performing project management team.

Dineli Ranamukhaarachchi | Design Engineer

B.E. (Honours), B.Com, MACSEV 

Dineli is a highly skilled design engineer, who enjoys the challenge of complex design assignments.

Dineli’s experience includes a wide range of projects including design for Local Government, Health, Retail, Residential and Education projects. 

Dineli has also prepared specifications and documentation for many remedial works projects for State Government-owned social housing buildings.

Joining Fenton Partners as a graduate engineer in 2013, Dineli has become a key member of our high-performing design team.
